Happy 2012!

High-Five Your Health!

Give yourself a pat on the back after your next workout.  Celebrating the good things in life, and in fitness, can lower your chances of developing coronary heart disease, according to a report in European Heart Journal.  So give yourself a high-five the next time you:

-Wake up early for a morning jog
-Resist the call of a fatty treat
-Fit into a pair of jeans that used to be too tight
-Perform an exercise that intimidates you
-Inspire a friend to eat clean or exercise
-Beat your personal record in the gym, such as number of push-ups you can perform.

Haven't accomplished some or any of these yet? Add them to your goals list for 2012!  Have your fittest, healthiest year yet!
